Designing Together: Our Collaboration with Cloth + Cabin

2026 is all about community and collaboration for us. It's just what we need in this time of intense uncertainty in our world outside of work and design.
Some collaborations just make sense. They click not because they are trendy or strategic but because the work feels better together.
That is exactly how our partnership with Cloth + Cabin came to be. Amy has long been a friend of mine and a cheerleader for MODRN GR from the beginning. So, when she announced her expansion into creating The Shops at Maison Blanc in downtown Rockford; you can bet we were eager to celebrate her vision and continued growth!
In case you missed it- Cloth + Cabin has been taking on design clients for some time. Creating mood boards and layouts, sourcing soft goods and furniture, helping to bring a sense of warmth and comfort to customer's homes. Amy's offerings have quickly grown with requests from customers and we could not be more thrilled to supply her projects with all the finishes needed to bring her vision to life.
MODRN will be joining an elite group of entrepreneurs, creatives, and artists opening a design finishes space at Maison Blanc this February! Cloth + Cabin x MODRN GR will be here to help design your most loved spaces, and provide the materials that are the backbone of your projects, shaping how your space feels, functions, and ages over time. Think a continuously updated selection of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, hardware etc.
